Best Lake Trout Fishing in Northern Ontario

Whether you're ice fishing or summer fishing or just casting from the dock, the fishing is amazing. Catching lake trout from the dock is a common experience for anglers as well as the opportunity for young anglers to catch rock bass. You will catch a variety of sizes or possibly a record 28 lb lake trout. Many of the surrounding lakes are stocked with brook trout or splake with sizes caught up to 8 lbs.

Bringing back a good catch of fish for your fish fry at the lodge is a reward in itself, keeping within trout limits and encouraging safe catch and release practices to protect the fishery.
